  • You learned English in school from a non-native teacher, and you’re not sure how good your pronunciation is.

  • In English class you focused on grammar so your grammar is good, but your pronunciation? Not so much.

  • You’ve watched videos online on English sounds but they aren’t clear enough to explain differences in sounds.

  • You encounter blank stares or confused faces a little more often than you’d like when speaking English.

  • You’ve looked at live pronunciation training but it’s either too expensive or you’re too busy.

  • You’ve searched videos, books, teachers, and you’re just exhausted from all the information and where to start .

  • The videos or teachers you’ve worked with only tell you what the sounds are, but not how to produce them.

Imagine yourself a few months later

Your English is better. You’ve improved a few key sounds and you’re on the way to improving more. You know what you need to study and how to practice, and you regularly practice. You find that people are less often confused. Some may even tell you they understand you better! You hear the correct sounds and other little details you never noticed before, sounds you’ve been or are currently working on. You may not be completely proficient with English pronunciation, but you’re getting there, and more importantly you're confident on your path to comprehensible, clear, and Complete English Pronunciation!

Introducing: Complete English Pronunciation

For the past several years I’ve helped hundreds of students improve their English pronunciation and accent in live 1-to-1 training. My live training has been so popular that I had to raise prices and create waitlists… But I wanted to help more students!

To help more students, I’ve compiled the exercises, training, and knowledge that has helped hundreds of students improve into one course you can do at your own pace: all the sounds & related topics, as well as exercises & recordings to help you fix all your English pronunciation issues so that you never get misunderstood again. And all this at a fraction of the cost of live training!

How I created this course

As a trained linguist, I try to explain complex phonetic topics of English into simple terms. After years of doing live training with students and helping my students achieve their pronunciation and accent goals, I’ve acquired a wealth of tried and true methods to helping translate the complex topic of articulatory phonetics into everyday language with exercises that anyone can do to pronounce English better. In fact, I’ve created custom study plans for you based on your native language.

Now I’ve compiled these methods into videos and exercises in my first ever video course so I can help more students like you with English pronunciation and accent, no matter where you live and your schedule!

What you’ll get

Visuals

I’ve included close-ups to illustrate how to correctly produce the sounds that you can rewatch over and over.

FAQs

1. This course is on English pronunciation, how does it differ from accent?

I define good pronunciation as being able to be able to clearly produce the spoken elements of a language to be easily understood by one's conversation partner. You do not have to sound like a native to be clearly understood. To have a good, native-sounding accent, you need good pronunciation, but you do not have to have a native accent to have good pronunciation. This course will help you achieve good pronunciation but will not focus on getting you to sound native. That will be the topic of future courses

2. I speak ___ as a native language, will this course help me?

This is a general pronunciation course that has lessons for every single English sound plus more. As such, English learners of any linguistic background can benefit from this course to improve their pronunciation in the sounds they need help in. In future video courses I will create specific lessons for learners of various linguistic backgrounds to improve their accent to sound native. Check out this suggested list of lessons based on your linguistic background.

3. How much time is required to improve my English pronunciation?

The time required depends on various factors, but most notably these two: 1) How much you study, and 2) your current level of English. My lessons should easily help you understand how to create the proper sounds to achieve a good pronunciation, and consistent practice should help you cement these habits. Your current level determines how many sounds and features you have to work on. Those with more to work on will understandably need more time to improve their pronunciation

4. Will there be live training in this video course?

This video course was designed to be self-paced and comprehensive, with everything you need to improve your pronunciation without needing live training. However, if you wish for a quicker pace of improvement or more individual attention you can always take my live training alongside the video course and ask specific questions about the course. In any case I am always accessible through my social media and email.

5. There are a lot of lessons. Do I need to do all of them?

This course has every single sound and feature in English necessary for good pronunciation. However, depending on your native language, there will be lessons that you don't need to do. Here is a suggested list of lessons based on your native tongue. The black checkmarks indicate mandatory lessons while the grey checkmarks indicate optional but beneficial lessons.
